At Concordia Dressage, we are passionate about training horses based on the principles of classical theory. Our horses well being is our top priority and we build our training programs around each individual horse and rider. Concordia means "harmony" in Latin and harmony is our number one guiding principle when training horses. Through gymnastic development of each horse, we strive to ensure that each and every horse is relaxed and confident in body and mind. By riding each horse forward and straight, we can improve his thoroughness which leads to optimal balance and harmony.
Husband/wife team Martin & Jenna are both USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalists. They have have been dedicated to sharing the art of classical riding together for nearly 15 years. Martin has been a dedicated student to dressage master and his mentor, Charles de Kunffy, for over 20 years with Jenna working with Charles for over 12 years. The classical methods that Charles has dedicated his life to preserving, remain the guiding principles for Martin & Jenna's training philosophy.
Martin & Jenna are also no stranger to show ring success with many horses trained from foals to the FEI levels. They have amassed many regional championships, IAHLA National Championships, and all breed awards. They have also coached two US Dressage Finals champions in the amateur division in recent years. Many students have also earned their USDF medals while in the program. Jenna & Martin are dedicated to their students success and you can be sure if you choose Martin or Jenna as your trainer, you will have someone who is in your corner - who will explore your goals with you and chart the best path towards achieving those goals.
