Our first show for the fall and with our new clients was a great sucess! Six horses made the trip to Katy for the competition. Freedance was a star in his very first tests at a recognized show scoring between 71% - 77% in all of his training level classes during the show. Last weekend at the CTDS schooling show, he scored an 80% and a 74%, hopefully a sign of great things to come! He was very well behaved and acted like a seasoned pro.
Martin's first show with Robin Hudson's Ruby was great with scores of 65%, 68%, 73% and another 73%, at training level, qualifying for SWDC and earning one score toward their GAIG/USDF Regional Champioship scores at training level. Mechelle Sieg on her paint mare, Rena rode some of their bests tests to date and have made tons of progress in their six months with Concordia. She also earned her final score toward her USDF Bronze Medal. Kelly Bernard did great as well scoring between 62% and 66% at first level on her lovely hanoverian mare, Chante. Gran Casso scored 68.8% and 66% at 2nd level, earning his final Regional Championship Qualifying score and winning the class on Saturday. Martin schooled Bentley and it was amazing to watch as Bentley became more and more settled each day, schooling in all of the show arenas and warm ups. They will be making their show debut in Tyler in 3 weeks. Texas Rose Fall Dressage Show is next up on the calendar! Jenna will be making her Prix St. Georges debut on Warendorf and showing Training Level & Materiale on Freedance. Martin will be showing Ruby at Training and First Level, Bentley at Intro and Training Level and Gusty at Fourth Level. Kelly will be showing Chante at First Level.
